Curbcut Toronto is an open-access platform for exploring the sustainability and quality of life of the Toronto region. Across themes like climate, ecology, health, housing, and transport, residents, researchers, and policymakers can investigate neighbourhood-level indicators, from land-surface temperature and tree coverage to active-living potential and bikeway comfort, through a single explorer, no GIS expertise required.
Built by Curbcut with the McGill Sustainability Systems Initiative and the University of Toronto’s Digital Curation Institute, it extends Curbcut’s open-data approach to Canada’s largest city.
