The PRDS de Laval needed a clear, rigorous way to see where social and spatial inequalities concentrate across its territory. Curbcut co-designed a multidimensional living-environment equity index (IÉMV), an actionable measure of vulnerability built and weighted collaboratively with the PRDS committee.
Curbcut handled the methodology, the index calculation, and its full technical and visual integration into the Curbcut Laval platform, where teams can explore it alongside the platform’s other data and export it as a downloadable dataset. The result gives the PRDS partners and municipal staff a finer reading of the territory to guide evidence-based planning and public policy.
